Gli occhiali da sole sono
stati forse uno dei pochi elementi che ancora oggi ricordano meglio i
70. Se per le donne l’imperativo era “fanali” per gli uomini (Ma non
solo) l’imperativo era Ray Ban. Credo che sia inutile spiegare come
erano fatti: pensate ai telefilm “Chips” (i poliziotti motociclisti
californiani) e avete gią davanti agli occhi i mitici Ray Ban. Un
particolare solo, anzi due: le stanghette laterali verso le orecchie
terminavano con una parte semimolle (Quasi una vera e propria molla)
piegata verso il basso oltre 180° e che praticamente avvolgeva
l’orecchio da sopra, dietro, sotto e quasi risaliva davanti,
obbligando strane manovre tutte le volte che si dovevano indossare,
ma soprattutto toglierli. Bisognava infatti scastrare
quell’avvolgente ferretto ripiegato quasi su se stesso dal
l’orecchio. Il secondo particolare invece č che era in uso piegare
gli occhiali frontalmente sulla parte centrale che sovrastava il naso
verso il viso, in modo che le due estremitą laterali a cui erano
attaccate le stanghette, arretrassero, dando una strana forma
aerodinamica all’occhiale stesso. Si vedevano veri e propri occhiali
piegati (Vista dall’alto) quasi come il simbolo ^. (Testo estratto da
